In Chapters 21 and 22 of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Hagrid introduces the class to thestrals while Umbridge turns his inspection into a cruel and prejudiced attack. The members of Dumbledore’s Army continue to improve, Harry shares his first kiss with Cho Chang, and a seemingly hopeful night takes a horrifying turn when Harry experiences an attack on Arthur Weasley from inside the body of a snake.
